Rock With a Bit o’ Glamor

The 2018 Walkabout used organic patterns and the kind of free hand funkiness that New Wave was born from. I started with a mood board to help communicate the overall vibe. I drew inspiration from Blondie, David Bowie posters, and hand drawn elements, to give South Park a younger, freer spirit than in years past.

Countdowns and Color Ways

With algorithms getting trickier every moment, I wanted to provide an opportunity to have multiple touchpoints on social media. I proposed using a transparent frame overlay to make easy countdown posts. Plus, it allowed other businesses to use the event’s branding on top of their own content.

We also needed multiple color ways to make each event distinguishable and refreshing, so I redrew the patterns using alternative colors and focal illustrations.
